Awesome Is The Best Word To Describe
Hey everybody! Sorry I didn´t give you an update last week! I forgot! OOPS! BUT today I'll give you an update of the last two weeks. You will have much more to read. I'll tell you about school, soccer and our soccer games, my progress rapport and my friends. So here we go! There is no translation to Dutch today, because it takes a really long time to translate and today it would be a lot to translate!
Another two weeks of school:
School is school. It is kind of always the same. On Monday the first of September I didn't have school because here it is a holiday, Labour Day. Of course that was fun for me because it was the first day of school in Belgium. So I stayed home and chilled a little bit. The day before Gail, Elisabetta and I went to the mall and I bought some new clothes. It's not that expensive here so I got a lot of clothes for not that much money. Which is always fun. Then on Tuesday the rest of the week started. For some reason the week seemed longer than a normal week. I didn't have a lot of tasks and classes, but I was tired. Soccer kept me pretty bussy too. I'll tell you more about it later. I also got my first Progress Rapport. I have all A's except for Calculus, that's a B+. (Belgium: Alles boven 85 % en het hoogste is 100%). So, that was of course pretty good! I also had to write my first essay for English. The teacher scared me because he said that it is very difficult to get a 9/9 and that most people will receive a 5 or 6/9. So, I was so happy when I saw I got a nine! He thought it was really good, so I'm happy too. Now we have to write another essay, it is a rhetorical analysis, (analyse van een tekst, super moeilijk!) and I asked him if he could read my paragraph to check if everything was okay, and he said: "I don't think you need any help Cato." And I was thinking: "I think I still do, sir." But I figured it out on my own then. Mr Beard called that week also a very progressive week for me, because that week I had to start my own business in Economics and raise a baby with Adam in Psychology. They were both fun, though. School is really fun because of the people. Economics and Psychology are the most fun classes. I always have a great time with them. I've also learned that US government is the most boring class that exists. I'm sorry to say it, but it's the truth.
A lot of Games, Only One Win:
Our soccer team isn't doing the greatest job right now. We've played a lot of games and we've only won one with 5-1. Then we tied one 0-0. And we've lost three with 10-0, 4-1 and the other one I can't remember. The last game we've been doing a lot better, though. I really feel like we were more of a team and we've been doing more team bounding. I hope we will win our next game (Tuesday). So cross your fingers! I'll let you know in my new blogpost next week!
Friends:
I really made some really great friends here and they are so awesome. With the soccer team I went out a few times. On Monday the first of September we practiced on our own and I got my first nosebleed. It was really funny, though. After that we went to yogülatte. Of course, it was delicious. We also went to El Rodeo after a game one night. Well actually it was just Mary, Maddee, Kristen and me because all the other girls had a lot of homework. Yesterday we did some other Team Bounding because we went to the movies! Here are some pics of my girls and I!

First Fever Basketball Game:
On Saturday Gail, Eli and I also went to a Fever basketball game! It is so much fun! I wish it was this popular in Belgium. There isn't really much to say about it, so here are some pictures and videos!
First Speedway High School Football Game:
This week was also the first home game for our American Football team, so of course I went and watched. But first, there was a pep rally at school that day. It's something to get everybody pumped up fot the game. It was so much fun and everybody was really excited for the game! Here are some photo's and videos of the pep rally!
It was really fun. The football guys were looking good, the cheerleaders were cheering and there was a student section where all the students were shouting for the football team! Unfortunately they lost.
There isn't really much to tell about the game either, except for the fact that I don't understand a thing about it! But here are some photo's and videos I guess!
So, I think this covers it for the past two weeks! I hope you liked this blogpost. It had a lot of videos and pictures, so now you really have an idea of how life is here! I'll keep you updated!
Big Kisses,

PS: Here is the collage I made from the last two weeks, if you want to take a better look at it! :D
